John Brickels’ “Claymobile” sculptures are based on the “Rural Myth” story of antique cars being found in abandoned barns. Brickels has retro-fitted vintage pedal car bodies found in barns in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Iowa with stoneware suspension, engines and dashboards.
