Sponsors & Supporters

The 2007 Art’s Alive Festival of Fine Art would not be possible without the generous support of a number of people. Kasini House, the festival producers, wish to acknowledge the following businesses and organizations.

Art's Alive, Inc

While most people know Art's Alive, Inc for its annual Festival of Fine Art, the organization is much more diverse. Art’s Alive, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and appreciation of Vermont visual artists. In addition to the annual festival, Art’s Alive has an active art in businesses program; operates a gallery at Union Station on Burlington’s Waterfront; and is constantly searching for new ways to support Vermont artists and to bring art to the places where people live, work, and play. www.artsalivevt.com

Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center

Frog Hollow’s galleries in Burlington, Manchester and Middlebury feature the work of over 250 juried Vermont artisans. Frog Hollow exhibits and sells fine traditional and contemporary craft by artists who reside in Vermont's rural communities. www.froghollow.org

Greater Manchester Arts Council (GMAC)

The GMAC is a community-driven arts initiative bringing together artists, businesses, community members and schools to strengthen the presence of the arts in the Manchester and the Mountains Community, as well as actively advocating for, facilitating and supporting arts education. www.greatermanchesterarts.org

Main Street Landing

Main Street Landing, founded by sustainable redevelopers Melinda Moulton and Lisa Steele, consists of new and redeveloped space along Burlington’s Waterfront, including the CornerStone, Wing and Lake & College buildings and Union Station, home of the Art’s Alive Gallery. www.mainstreetlanding.com

Taste

Artsy and colorful, this Waterfront restaurant takes its name from a song by Phish. Three large aquaria, metallic copper walls and chef/owner Rick Benson’s vibrant artwork make the dining room fun and inviting. www.tasteofburlington.com

Church Street Marketplace

Founded in 1981, Burlington’s award-winning Church Street Marketplace consists of four blocks of architecturally-historic buildings housing an eclectic array of over 100 shops and restaurants along a tree-lined pedestrian mall that stretches from Pearl Street to Main Street. www.churchstmarketplace.com
