STATEMENT
Photography provides me with the artistic tools I need to express my view of the world that surrounds us. With digital format I have control over the entire process. By composing, editing, printing and framing I can present something that is my own work. By providing unique viewpoints, I hope that others can rediscover the beauty in our natural surroundings. My passion is to use my camera to capture a moment in time that will linger in the minds of the viewer hopefully evoking a renewed sense of wonder of the world around us.
BIO
Beginning photography at age 13 in Southern New Jersey, I enjoyed every aspect of photography. At Penn State, I was an active member of the photography club teaching photography to novice club members. I taught photography in our “Free University” program at Temple Medical School. I moved to Vermont in 1976 to begin my career as a Pediatrician in Randolph, where I continued my photography in my spare time. Mostly working with landscape and nature photography with film for 40+ years, I now work exclusively in digital format enjoying the flexibility of the “computer darkroom” unique to digital work. My professional career is emerging.
