OTHER INFORMATION
Kasini House offers one and two week residencies to artists. Residents receive private studio space and opportunities to interact with Burlington’s vibrant art community while they complete a particular project.

At Kasini House, we work closely with artists to complete projects that highlight their contemporary art practice. Through our residency program, we provide logistical support for the creation of artwork, project management, exhibition opportunity, written and visual documentation, and publication. Take a moment to review some of our past residencies.

During the residency, the artist completes a plan submitted with his or her application. They will also have the opportunity to interact with Burlington’s art community and the general public through events. Residents may also have the opportunity to teach a class, and exhibit their work.

What Interests Us
We are open to any medium that can be produced in a raw studio. We are particularly interested in artists whose work addresses issues in contemporary art (hybrid arts, book arts, cutting edge practice, fusion, or contemporary interpretations of traditional movements), art products (those objects artists make that are not fine art, but rather products that reflect the themse of their art practise), or art that engages the communities of Vermont, Burlington, or the Old North End. That said, we are open to any achievable project plan by an artist who has demonstrated ambition, follow-though, and professionalism. Please review current and past residencies before applying:
